Ephesians 1:1–4

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

1. We always have to remember God chose us before the foundation, He loved us first, It is not our good conduct or goodness he chose us. If we are gripped by this truth we never feel entitled for his love or we judge people not acting in Godly ways. What I learned is whenever I think why are they like that ? Why can’t they act/behave better ? Immediately the Holy Spirit tells me “ Aha So you are good that’s why you are acting better than them? It is by His grace he shed a light in my life, and it is who Christ dwells in me helps me to be what I am , it’s not me, If not for Christ I may be the worst of sinners.It really makes us humble and never judge any one, but rather helps me to have empathy and burden for them.
2. Grace and Peace we will have only through our saviour → How can we speak grace and peace to others? We can be gracious in our speech and how we act with others and try to fight for peace in every situation. Yes I am thriving for peace but others that are in my life aggravating me and not allowing me to have peace. What can we do in those moments ? Proverb says
3. He Chose us to be holy and blameless before Him in Love — Everything has to be in LOVE. What is the point of doing everything right and trying to be holy when I don’t have Love!! God is LOVE.

Proverbs 25:22–23
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;If he is thirsty, give him water to drink.In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head,
and the Lord will reward you.

When we are striving for peace God will give wisdom to show love and help us to overcome those moments. It’s not easy but by constant practice we will see a change.

Prayer : Dear Lord Jesus , Thank you for choosing me before the foundation of the world. Help me to remember that truth always , it’s you who initiated that Love I have for you now, it’s nothing of me.Help me to strive for holiness and walk blameless befojre you. Help me to do everything in LOVE. And also Lord Help me to be a peacemaker and my speech and actions are with grace!! Forgive for all the moments that I didn’t act that way. But I want to from today onwards, I can’t do this by myself . but only by the power of the Holy Spirit, In Jesus name i Pray Amen!!
