A Day well spent !
Mark 16:15
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation”
This is my first time in Gideon Bitlz event , I am amazed by seeing lot of brothers and sisters on fire for God early morning buckled up to take the gospel to the East Bay!
I have no idea what we are going to do that day. I know we will be doing bible distribution but don’t know where and how. So I stepped into the hotel with curiosity, we received warm welcome by Gideonites, and all the women gathered to pray before we set out to the mission field. This was ringing in my head how joyful it is to be like minded, grounded in Christ love , with oneness of mind and spirit.
We got instructions that our driver for the day will come and meet us at front. Me and my loving sister Matilda waited in the lobby talking to other women, then Connie joined us.
I marveled at how they organized the routes , every route had a binder with all details and pouch that contain stationery. I commend and thank the team who put together all the routes.
We started with prayer, and picked up our bibles and started our drive on our assigned route to give the bibles and spread God’s word. It’s exciting !! Being a newbie, Connie explained everything very clearly to me.
Connie was our super driver for the day, Matilda and I were providing the directions to the doctors offices!
During the experience I recollected that God ordains the steps of his children, He knows everything we are doing, He know whose hands those bibles should go and He knows who will need the Word and will read it.
Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
With FAITH we prayed and delivered, we distributed 100 bibles that day!
We prayed before we stepped out to distribute the bible. We offered praise to God when people were receptive and accepted the bibles and when they didn’t, we prayed for them as well. We got to know each other in team throughout the day with sweet and lovely conversations.
I am really motivated to see Connie’s energy and enthusiasm for the Lord and Matilda’s humble attitude and love for God.
It was an amazing experience to witness Gideon’s ministry and the efforts to spread the gospel.
Coming from a Hindu background I encountered God when I was in the deep valley of life, it was then I gave my life to Him. Slowly as I started reading Bible, He became real to me, the last few years there is one thing I enjoy and the one thing I want is to talk about the “ Word of GOD “. Sharing the word of God to others is the most precious and important thing I can ever do. I am grateful to Gideons for giving me this opportunity.

I can say my soul was double happy in the Lord, joining my fellow Gideons in the Bay Area Biltz Day!!!
